Directions

From Glasgow follow the A82 (Great Western Road turns into Dumbarton Road) to the Little Chef at Milton and turn off left for Dumbarton on the A814 (Glasgow Road).

 

In Dumbarton take the second left after the train station onto Victoria St. Follow this down to the castle and turn right at the football stadium and park just around the back. From here the alleyway leads round the western side of the rock to the boulders less than 30 seconds from the car park.

 

There are frequent trains from Glasgow taking 25 minutes to Dumbarton East station.
